Terms of Use
Last updated: [date of publication]
These terms apply to this website. They are not an engagement letter and they do not describe the terms of any professional service.
Before publishing. The sections below are written to match how this site actually works. The governing-law clause and the limitation of liability need a lawyer's eye — they are the two clauses that decide what happens when something goes wrong, and boilerplate is a poor substitute for advice on those.
Nothing here is tax advice
This is the important one, so it goes first.
Everything on this site, including the pages, the videos linked from it and any figure or example, is general information. It is not tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice, and it is not a recommendation to do anything in particular with your own affairs.
Tax outcomes depend on facts. Yours are not the facts in any example shown here. Do not act on anything from this site without advice on your own situation, from us or from somebody else.
Using the site does not make you a client
Reading these pages does not create a professional relationship. Neither does sending the contact form, and neither does receiving a reply to it.
A relationship begins when both sides sign an engagement letter setting out what is being done, by whom, and for what fee. Until that exists, nobody is your accountant and no work is being done on your behalf.
Do not send sensitive information through this site
The contact form asks for a name, an email address, an optional phone number, and a short description. That is all it is for.
Do not send a Social Security number, figures from a return, bank details, or documents through this form. There is no field for any of it, and the form is not a secure channel for that kind of material. Once you are a client, there is a proper secure channel and we will point you at it.
Results shown are not promises
Where this site describes what happened for a client, it describes that client, in that year, under those rules. It is not a prediction, a guarantee, or an average. Tax law changes, and facts differ.
Accuracy
We try to keep this site correct and current. Tax rules move constantly, and a page that was right when written can quietly go stale. We do not warrant that everything here is accurate or complete at the moment you read it.
Links to other sites
This site links out to Instagram, to TikTok and to Google Maps. Those are other people's services, under their own terms and their own privacy policies. We do not control them and are not responsible for them.
What belongs to whom
The text, design, logo, and video content are the property of Clever Taxes Elite. You are welcome to read the site, share a link to it, and print a page for your own use. Republishing the content as your own is not permitted.

Availability
We do not promise the site is always reachable. It may be down for maintenance, or because something broke.
Limitation of liability
[Needs a lawyer. This clause and the governing-law clause below are the two that matter when something goes wrong. What is enforceable depends on New Jersey law and on the firm's professional liability cover, and a clause copied from another site may be void or may sit badly with that cover.]
Governing law
[Needs a lawyer. Normally the State of New Jersey, but confirm it, together with the venue for disputes.]
Changes to these terms
These terms can change. The date at the top will say when they last did. Using the site after that means the new version applies.
